How To Implement Home Security – What My In-Laws Should Have Done To Avoid Being Burglared Twice In 3 Years!
The holidays are approaching fast, which means that a lot of people will return home and realize they have had unwelcome visitors!
This has happened to my in-laws twice in the last 3 years!
Fortunately the burglars didn’t find anything of value, but it’s still very uncomfortable knowing that complete strangers have been rummaging through your personal property.
As I mentioned previously both Thanksgiving and Christmas is right around the corner. For most people these are joyful occasions spent with your family. Unfortunately, for some people it’s the peak of their business.
You might think that you live in a quiet neighborhood where burglaries are unlikely to happen…that’s exactly what my in-laws thought!
The fact is that quiet neighborhoods are perfect for burglars since they are the allowed to do their business undisturbed. My in-laws have unfortunately had to turn their home into a veritable Fort Knox. This is both very expensive and very frustrating. You simply shouldn’t have to spend thousands of dollars to secure your personal property!
The sad fact is, you do!
So, what do you need to do? Well, my in-laws installed special windows, extra-secure doors, cameras and a bunch of other stuff. However, unless you’re in the home security business you probably don’t know how to secure your home. I know my in-laws didn’t and when they asked me I didn’t either.
I’m an Internet guy so, naturally I went online to seek out the answers. Did I ever get a lot of results! The fact is that if you do a search for the term “how to install home security” on google without the quotes you get 66.600.000 results if you add the quotes that is reduced to a “measly” 79.100 results! How will a regular guy like you or me ever be able to find the good stuff within such a huge volume of results? We wont!
However, I decided that I should probably go through some of the hits I got on Google and see if I could find something useful. Through that process I was fortunate enough to run into the “The Ultimate Guide to Home Security” product by Daniel Berg. The price of “The Ultimate Guide to Home Security” is $9.95, which is nothing compared to the amount of time this product saves you. I know it saved me and my in-laws hours of research and bought us a lot of peace of mind in the process. Here’s a list of the topics covered by “The Ultimate Guide to Home Security.”
